FAQs
Do we pay in full or a deposit, and when is the full payment due?
We require a 20% non-refundable deposit to secure your booking, with the remaining balance due on the day of the event. This payment structure ensures the date is reserved for you and prevents us from double booking.
If we have specific shots or looks in mind, can we incorporate them in the photography?
Absolutely! We value your vision and are happy to discuss any particular shots or moments you’d like highlighted to incorporate them into our work. After booking with us, we schedule a call prior to your event and discuss your specific requirements and plans for the day.
Would you be able to capture ‘getting ready’ shots at the house?
Yes, we can certainly capture ‘getting ready’ moments at the house, especially if it’s only a short distance from the event venue. These shots help to tell the full story of the day and build a narrative for the wedding film.
What is the turnaround time for editing the film and photography?
We expect to deliver our wedding feature films within 3 months of the shoot however depending on event coverage, this can take up to 6 months. Photographs usually take approximately 4-6 weeks from the day of the event. We focus on ensuring the highest quality, so while timelines may vary slightly based on the event, this allows us to deliver a polished final product and really deliver a unique final product for all of our couples.
Do you cover couple/location shoots on the Nikkah day as well as the ceremony?
Yes, we provide couple or location shoots on the Nikkah day, in addition to full ceremony coverage. Please note that when couple shoots are limited to a small timeframe on the day of the event, they often feel rushed due to the busy schedule. This can make it challenging for us as photographers and cinematographers to capture our best creative work.
To ensure the best results, we strongly recommend setting aside an entirely separate day (after the Nikkah has taken place) or at least 2-3 hours solely for the couple shoot. This dedicated time allows our couples to relax and enjoy the experience as well as give us enough time to perfect our shots.
Do you offer a package deal if we book for additional events like the Baraat or Mehndi?
We do offer package deals for multiple events. When making a booking request please do let us know all the event details and we’ll be able to provide a combined quote, including any multi-event discounts.
Can we request changes to the film after receiving it?
We put immense care and effort into our edits, treating each final product with meticulous attention to detail in every cut, sound design, and transition. As such, re-edits are only offered to address specific issues, such as name spelling errors or technical problems with the video render.
Do you offer photo albums?
Yes – we offer album printing, whether it’s part of one of our packages or as an add-on service. Just let us know that this is something you are interested in and we’ll include this in your quote as well as provide a preview of our custom-made albums. Click here for a full break down of our packages and add-on services.
Do you offer drone shots?
Yes! Our Silver, Gold, and Platinum packages include a licensed drone operator to capture breathtaking aerial views, adding a unique perspective to your final film. Please do note however that drone usage depends on weather conditions and location permissions.
Can we receive the final media on both a USB and a digital link?
Yes - USB delivery is available for an additional charge. Please note that by default, all packages include digital delivery for photos, which are uploaded as high-resolution files to Google Drive. Clients booking our Platinum Package also receive access to a premium gallery, providing an enhanced and enjoyable viewing experience for their photos. Additionally, for feature films, the final 4K render is uploaded to Google Drive, and a private YouTube link is provided, making it easy for families to share.
Will you put my photos on social media?
We reserve the right to share the content we capture for social media purposes. However, every effort is taken to respect our clients’ preferences for privacy and anonymity, particularly honouring Islamic guidelines, especially for sisters observing hijab. This may mean for example, blurring/cropping people out of the shot or using more discrete compositions. If you prefer to opt out of social media sharing entirely, we offer a premium service to ensure complete exclusion.
Do you only cover weddings?
Although enquiries for wedding bookings are very popular, we do also cover a range of different types of events from children’s birthday parties, graduation shoots or even Aqiqah parties. If you’d like some more information or you’re not sure whether we can cover your event, feel free to reach out using the enquiry form below.
Where can I see your work?
You can view our public photography work here and our cinematography work here. Please do be aware that our portfolio is much more extensive than this and we do in fact have a private gallery for males and females respectively – in order to receive access to this please click here.
Which locations do you cover?
Our editing studio and headquarters are in Berkshire, South-East England, however we cover events nationally. Quotes provided to all clients are inclusive of all travel costs.
How does the female-only editing work?
For segregated or ladies-only events (e.g., mehndi nights where women often remove their hijab), all content captured exclusively by our female photographer(s) or cinematographer(s) is handled entirely by our female in-house editors.
For photographs, all images are edited by our female editor and delivered digitally to clients. For videos, the relevant portions of the final film are edited and viewed only by our female editor. These segments are then seamlessly integrated into the final video timeline.
